JAI BHIM FILM REVIEW.

 

     

           One of the greatest creations of Indian film industry. Film is based on the oppressive nature of police  and prejudice about primitive tribal people of Tamilnadu.The film is directed by TJ Gnanavel and produced by GOLDMINES PRODUCTION. Leading role of chandru lawyer is performed by Suriya( the star.)

           Despite  50 years    of independence  we    failed to  bring every  strata of the     society     in     the    sphere   of    development. Poverty, illiteracy,unemployment,lack of pucca house , all these issues are highlighted in real sense.. All  these scenes show the gravity of the problem.

           Along with these issues, these tribal people have to face social   discrimination,sanction by the upper caste and local representative which denied them their constitutional rights..

           The Chief of  a family member and his friends were arrested for false charges of robbery . Police tortured the family members to accept the crime which they didn't commit. Even lady family member ( sister of the victim) was also tortured too much.. Which comprised her dignity. Her voice reverberate in the prison.

           To protect his husband, Senggeni( victims wife)  fight the legal battle with lady teacher.. and they finally met the human right lawyer  Chandru(Suriya..)  who put  his all energy and experience to give justice to these people. He files habeas Corpus petition in high court according to article 226 of the constitution. Which means asking police authorities to present the victim infront of the court.
        
           They fight religiously despite many obstacles and false evidence planted by police men .  These police men had tortured them and one man  Raja kannu  (senggenis husband)  dies in the custody .So it is clear cut example of custodial death by irresponsible police men. Who themselves engaged in  the robbery.

            Lawyer Chandru fight to  give justice to these people. Because , he believes in humanity. He is follower of  Karl Marx , Dr. B.R Ambedkar.. their  path of truth,justice,equality showed by these great personalities.
   
            Finally with his tireless efforts and cooperation from upright police officer  ( role by Praksh Raj)  they finds the truth. And bring this horrific incident in front of the  high court..Court gives punishment for crime done by police officers.

            The eyes of lady whose is pregnant and her husband is dead  reflect her plight,non shareable sorrow. .. and belief in the judiciary . Despite being illiterate her principles are very strong. Which is based on truth,  justice and equality.She refused to compromise with culprit for money despite her financial weaknesses.Her cry for justice and human treatment ,makes you cry. Equality before law and equal protection of law is guaranteed by our constitution. Without constitution,it is difficult to imagine India.

        

           Though this story is one incident but there may be many such incidences in  the country.. So it is our moral and constitutional duty  to  help  them and  prevent such incident in future.. .We need many Suriyas who will defend rights of every poor, vulnerable sections of society..Hence our talent need to help our society . Chandras says

"HUNAR KI ASLI IJJAT TAB HOTI HAI JAB WO SAMAJ KE KAM AYE" . 

 Which translated as follow

 "WHENEVER OUR TALENT HELPS OUR SOCIETY, THAT IS THE REAL RESPECT OF  THE TALENT".

           Hence,  title of the Film is appropriate  that's is JAI BHIM.  Which  refers to justice ,equality and equal treatment to all...
          Thanks 🙏🙏🙏Suriya and all team  members for bringing this issue again in National debate.  .It really meet the purpose of film industry, which is rare now days ... One India one film concept is coming in real sense which is possible due to south industries...👍👍👍. Integration of India by film is becoming attractive feature of South movies .  Thanks to all  the artists who are producing such great masterpieces.
